New Jersey Association of Area Agencies on Aging

In 1973, the Older Americans Act (OAA) created Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) to provide advocacy and to plan for services for those 60+ years old, and to ensure access to needed services.  In New Jersey, there are 21 County Offices on Aging.  Their contact information is listed above.

While each county is unique, the Association (NJ4A) was established to bring together the 21 County Offices on Aging to advocate for seniors, to share "Best Practices" and to speak on behalf of all seniors in New Jersey with one voice.
